In the beginning, I wanted to write a book for my daughter.

其實剛開始，我是想為我的女兒寫一本書。

I wanted to tell her a simple, yet meaningful story about perseverance and a tiny little spaceship.

我想講一個很簡單, 但很重要的故事給她，一個有關於恆心和一艘小小太空船的故事。

What I came to realize, is that we all have a tiny little spaceship within us. Some may call it inner wisdom. Others may call it intuition. It guides us through the lessons of the bad times, and it shows us the value of the good times.

當寫這本書時, 我逐漸意識到，其實我們每個人內心都有一艘小小太空船。有些人可能稱這現象為慧心。其他人可能稱這為直覺。我相信這艘無形的太空船一直引導著我們, 教導我們困難是人生必上的一門課，並告訴我們到底什麼是真正的幸福。

In the end, what this book has become is a promise to my daughter, and to all of you:
